Having established a reputation for making some of Australia’s finest expressions of Grenache, Giles Cooke MW is now coming full circle to utilize his experience in the region that he first fell in love with. With such a deep reserve of old vine Garnacha, the wines of deAlto focus on this variety with judicious use of old vine Tempranillo. Eschewing the conventional criteria in favour of a pursuit of peace and purity, these wines are founded on fruit quality and respectful, low-intervention winemaking. Using that same spirit of adventure, experimentation, creativity, and commitment to sustainable wine production; deAlto embraces a family of wines from across the country.
