Johnnie Walker Blue Label is a commemoration of Alexander Walker's remarkable 1867 Old Highland Whisky. Using blending skill that he learned from his father, Alexander Walker harnessed whisky flavours from across Scotland to create a blend of truly rare quality. The casks that are picked to hold Johnnie Walkers Blue Label are hand selected from the largest reserves of whisky in the world. Only 1 in 10,000 casks are chosen for holding Jonnie Walker Blue Label. The rare craft that it takes to blend the blue label is in the hands of master blender Jim Beveridge. He hand picks and skilfully blends these rare whiskies with elusive flavours from the four corners of Scotland.
The first sip reveals a velvety mouth-feel, then an explosion of flavour - hazelnuts, honey, rose petals, sherry and oranges. A rich and uniquely long and satisfying finish of smoke and pepper, ending with a glorious touch of spice
