Created in 1859 by James Pimm, this well-known liqueur is produced from dry gin, liqueur, fruit juices and spice. First served in Pimm's Oyster Bar in London, it became immensely popular throughout the British Empire and is currently the traditional drink of Wimbledon. Medium bodied with a taste of quinine, citrus fruit and exotic spice, it is usually enjoyed with lemon soda or ginger ale.
